Description

:iconpmd-discovery:

Lore ♂ Meowstic-m by CreepyJellyfish
Keen Eye
Mild | Highly Persistent
Far more personable than his twin, Lore is the smooth talker between the two boys. He’s sophisticated, worldly, and well-read, he has a habit of coming off as an artistic smart ass and only has one or two friends for holding such airs.
Strengths: Lore is a smooth talker and a well-versed hustler. He’s very bold and very urbane. In battle, which he generally tends to avoid unless absolutely necessary, he’s more the defense behind Manek offense. The two really only work as a team so when battling individually, Lore often has difficulty beating an opponent of higher skill than his own.

Weaknesses: Though generally clever, there are times when he’s been known to out-fox himself. It’s a habit he has that Manek is generally able to keep under control, but his twin’s penchant for high-stakes gambling can spell trouble for duo. For the most part, Lore is the only one of the two of them who has this handicap.

Manek ♂ Meowstic-m by CreepyJellyfish
Infiltrator
Quiet | Somewhat Stubborn

They came from a very well-to-do family with a successful business that has more pawn shop twist than what would be the norm for other merchants.

Despite their independent streak, if asked if they are planning on making a career in Jusevi, they will laugh at you. Heartily. And they may even point a few times, depending on how earnestly you are asking. No. No they don’t plan on staying in this one-horse town for very long. This little village is only target practice; mere child’s play in transition to the high stakes, big city business their parents have already achieved. Unlike most children coming from wealthy families, these boys seek to pave their own path to glory away from the shadow of their parents, but it doesn’t mean they won’t use their parents’ money as a means of catapulting themselves to higher ground.
Though the items they sell can be more high-end and as such, often sell at a slightly higher-than-average price, they have always been known for quality. When purchasing something from them, you know it’s going to live up to the promises placed on it…at least for the most part, anyway. >A>;

:bulletyellow: Although they came as a pair, they are basically of one mind and constantly think and react in a very similar fashion. They have a habit of speaking in unison, making them come off as creepy at times. Their slightly abrasive attitudes and dry sense of humor can also be off-putting to people not accustomed to putting up with them; basically, a smart ass can easily appeal to Lore's catty side and it is easily the best way to get on his good side. He also has a pretty good heart underneath his “ABSOLUTELY MUST SELL!” car salesman-like personality, and certain sweeter personalities also appeal to him just for being so sweet.
:bulletblue: Manek, on the opposite end of the aspect, is more withdrawn than his brother and despite Lore’s attempts at making him social, he prefers to stay indoors counting his inventory and measuring their store’s margin of profit. His shut-in and anti-social personality make him difficult to approach and his overall lack of conversation skills can often times be intimidating, but truthfully, he’s more shy than anti-social and awkward than annoyed.
:bulletwhite: The two are twins born from the same egg; Lore came out as a shiny meowstic while Manek came out normal. The two have always been intensely close; perhaps maybe even a little too close. They both have feelings for each other that exceeded platonic and familial love and crossed into a full-blown relationship. Manek is the “power top” between the two of them and is extremely jealous of anyone who even hopes to get close to his brother. If he feels threatened, he becomes exceptionally catty and, if possible, even more withdrawn than usual.
:bulletyellow: They have a habit of speaking in unison especially around new people. It's creepy, making them seem vaguely The Shining-esque.
:bulletblue: Lore's keen eye ability is not only useful in battle, it also makes him quite a bit more perceptive to people's weaknesses. All the better to exploit them with. He's a good listener and an even better salesman.
:bulletwhite: Manek, on the other end of the aspect, is able to combine his brother's keen eye and infiltrate most any attack. Between the two of them, they are quite powerful, but only in double battles. If separated, the weaker of the two is Lore. However, even for psychic types, their telepathic powers between them is incredibly strong. They are capable of reading each others thoughts and feelings and react accordingly. If Lore is ever out on his own and in need of help, Manek is never far from him.

Mission One

Very much like Sapsorrow, Lieder Ohne Worte will not be my main team, but they will serve a role in Strawberry Alarm Clock's story, so they are both relevant.

We must be of the same mind. I thought of a male and female Meowstic crime duo to be antagonist (they would really 'close' to one another and touchy to other people getting close to one another, of course).
